Join us at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Knoxville on March 7th from 10:00am-1:00pm

We will be preparing a meal/s for the residents at Ronald McDonald House. that can be frozen and pulled out for future meals. We will also do some work on the house’s “honey-do” list.  The families staying at the House have a child, 21 years or younger, who is receiving medical treatment at any area hospital. While we won’t actually serve the residents a sit-down meal, we’ll be prepping a meal/s that can be frozen and served at a later date so they have a home-cooked meal waiting for them to either grab and head back to the hospital or eat before going to bed.

Have a favorite recipe that feeds several people?  Send the recipe my way for consideration in our meal planning and grocery shopping!  This can be a one-dish meal, soup, salad, etc. The facility offers two fully stocked kitchens that will be available to us to utilize.

We will be collecting items to donate to Ronald McDonald House. If you want to purchase a box of individually wrapped breakfast muffins, pastries, or individual cereal boxes, these are ideal for the family members to grab in the mornings on their way to the hospital. Other items such as a variety box of chips, peanut butter crackers, or sweets are also appreciated. Feel free to bring any items that you wish to donate
